Timeline of Firsts and Major Happenings
2017 Morris Society was founded
25th April 2017 First Cotswold practice
20th September 2017 – First Cotswold dance-out performed outside the University of Sheffield’s very own SU during Freshers Week
25th November 2017 – Our first Morris tour and our first jaunt to another city at Bristol ICBINI.
24th February 2018 – We performed at what has come to be one of our favourite festivals for the first time! The Intervarsity Folk Dance Festival (IVFDF) was held in our very own Sheffield that year.
20th July 2018 – We made our first appearance at another one of our favourite types of festival, Littleborough Rushbearing.
2018 We added Rapper to our types of Morris
27th November 2018 – First Rapper practice.
2nd March 2019 – First Rapper dance-out performed at IVFDF located that year in Edinburgh
