Sowerby Rushbearing

Throwback to this time last year when we were at Sowerby Rushbearing.

What’s a Rushbearing?
A revival tradition, which nowadays manifests as a small festival with a procession through local villages of a rushcart and morris teams – and of course breaks outside churches and pubs for the morris teams to dance!
